In this business, MAJ Aviation screens and recruits experienced qualified and reliable aviation technical manpower who is then deployed to our clients, mainly major aviation MRO companies in Singapore. MAJ started off serving primarily 2 major civil aviation MROs in Singapore namely SIAEC (SIA Engineering Company) and SASCO (ST Aviation Services Co Pte Ltd).

In servicing our clients, MAJ Aviation provides a complete range of services including:-

• Sourcing and pre-qualifying aircraft technicians and engineers;
• Validation of credentials and local security clearance;
•  All employment pass and/or work permit documentation;
•  Accommodation and staff welfare; and
• Logistics for intake & repatriation of staff

Bringing Aviation Engineering and Support Services closer to home

Since 2007, MAJ Aviation has been appointed the local and regional service representative agent for Weber Aircraft for their supply of economy and business passenger class seats. With our dedicated and proficient team, we provide quality logistics and on-site field representative support activities on behalf of the OEM to major airlines i.e, SIA & Silk Air. Following the success of this collaboration, Weber Aircraft has entrusted us to be their Authorised Parts Distributor and Repair Centre with CAAS SAR145 accreditation. From this, we were able to better serve customers through carrying consignment parts on behalf of Weber and conducting both on and off aircraft seats components repair.

MAJ Aviation has undertaken numerous out-sourcing engineering support projects from the aviation MROs ranging from equipment and tools stores operation, and logistics support to ground support equipment maintenance for various major aviation players here. In addition, MAJ Aviation has also accomplished aircraft refurbishment and aircraft painting work for institutions and RSAF.
In the defence sector business, MAJ Aviation provides consultancy services on major capital acquisition, project management and participation with OEMs on a number of non-strategic defence initiatives. Thus far, we have exclusive business tie-ups with a few international players to bid jointly for Singapore defence contracts and also for national airlines which involve power-by-the hour scope of work for services in MRO support and aviation training. Our partnerships in these areas are with Weber Aircraft LP, UniSIM, Embry Riddle University, Rank O’Conner’s and even Lufthansa Technical Training.

 

General Aviation MRO Support
Re-defining General Aviation in Singapore

MAJ Aviation’s expertise in MRO Support has developed over the years and in turn, inspired the new business focus on General Aviation (GA). With the vision to provide cost effective and quality solutions to meet the needs of the GA community, a dedicated GA Centre and hangar infrastructure will be developed based on an innovative, one-stop service concept.

 

The GA Centre will provide: : -

•  MRO & FBO service support for GA aircraft
• End-to-End Flight Line service and Apron Service support
•  Light Aircraft Parking and Storage service

 

MAJ has also successfully attained the SAR145 Category A2 certification to become the third company in Singapore to provide a full-fledged MRO service for GA. The signing of the 5 + 5 years contract for MRO support respectively with Singapore Flying College and Singapore Youth Flying club shows our success in securing our clients’ confidence and trust as well as demonstrates our competency in re-invigorating an active GA environment in Singapore.
